 GORGEOUS!!!!

OH my! These are by far the most fantastic swaddle blankets EVER. These are the first bamboo swaddles I have received from Aden + Anais, and I love them! They wash beautifully, no issues pilling here, and while the design does feel a little rougher than the actual bamboo muslin, this isn’t an issue. The design got much softer once I washed and dried them. I have the regular cotton muslin swaddles from this company, and they are also WONDERFUL. These bamboo wraps are even softer than the original though! They can be used for so many things, a breastfeeding cover, a shield to throw over the carseat if the sun is in baby’s eyes, a burp cloth… Pretty much anything! My 2 year old carries one around with him as a lovie!

 Beautiful design, Terrible swaddler

I really don’t understand the popularity of these blankets, they’re awful as swaddlers and far too expensive to be so useless. The designs are beautiful and modern, and maybe that’s enough to appeal to many people, but I found them very impractical. The fabric doesn’t have any stretch, which makes swaddling a wiggling baby around the shoulders almost impossible. It just slides right off down to her waist the moment she moves. The bamboo is very soft, but after a few washes it pills and gets pulls like crazy, and the printed areas are super scratchy. I gave the product two stars because I was able to use them as lovely scarves for myself, so it wasn’t a complete waste of money. I strongly recommend the Moby swaddling blanket as an alternative; it comes in organic cotton, tons of colors, and works much, much better.

Awesome swaddle blankets

We purchased these bamboo swaddles last week & received them promptly. They are EXTREMELY SOFT to touch, fold small (go muslin!), & have held up excellently on washing (washed as instructed in cold water, gentle cycle, no bleach, & low heat tumble dry). We did not notice any pilling & the designs have held up as new after washing too. They are HUGE (47 x 47) and will work as swaddles for a while as baby grows. I can also see us using these as receiving blankets & stroller covers etc. Can’t wait to swaddle our soon to arrive baby in these awesome swaddles.
