 Not the best

I bought this brand as well as the saefety first one the goes ontop of the door. It does work at protecting fingers from getting pinched but if your kids try to shut the door and push on it it starts to pull the screws out of the door hinge. I would prefer the safety first ones because their like a squishy grip that slides on the top of the door and you can move it to make it stay open more or closed more.

 Stripped the screws out of the door hinge…..

These door stoppers WILL keep your little one from pinching their fingers and I would even say in terms of keeping fingers safe, they work better than all the others ones I have tried!! BUT…after my 3 year old tried to close his bedroom door only 3 or 4 times with this finger guard in the door, it literally stripped all three screws out of the top hinge of his bedroom door. Not impressed at all with this!!! I did read a couple reviews from other people saying this had also happened to them before we purchased these but assumed it had happened after lots of use and MANY times of trying to close the door with the guard in the hinge. We literally had this guard in the door for ONE afternoon. So it doesn’t take much or long to wreck your door hinges. Would not recommend this product!!

 Great finger guards!

So far they’ve been great, I can’t complain about these finger guards. I wanted something that would last and it has, it’s not like those little foams that later wear out from what I’ve read. These are made of hard plastic, they hang between the door hinges and don’t fall at all. They really do the trick on keeping your baby’s hands safe and as a parent leave you, of course, more relieved.
